PLAIN BOOKCASE

The Plain bookcase is a freestanding modular system defined by a tubular steel structure, available in white or black finishes, and matt lacquered shelves in varying thicknesses. Designed to adapt with great flexibility to different settings, it allows for fully customizable compositions based on both aesthetic and functional needs. The system can be equipped with lacquered wooden storage units featuring soft-closing hinges and tempered glass shelves, achieving a balanced combination of visual lightness and structural solidity. The finishes are made with high-quality, durable, and scratch-resistant coatings designed to ensure long-lasting performance.

An architectural design approach that expresses a creative idea set to a fluid lightness for Plain, the free-standing modular bookcase that embodies the distinctive features of LEMA’s made-in-Italy design: modularity and customization, both in terms of compositions and finishes. The light structure in lacquered metal with a square section houses the shelves, which are available in different thicknesses and lengths.

Mounted in a scattered order on the structure, which is almost camouflaged in the environment, the shelves create full and empty spaces that become functional for holding books and objects of different heights, creating a pleasant movement on the wall. With multiple composition possibilities, the Plain bookcase develops small architectures designed to separate and contain with total lightness and freedom.
