Tian, meaning sky in Chinese, is a modular wardrobe made entirely of glass. An aquarium-style showcase, designed to be placed even in the center of the room, connects, separates, divides, and illuminates. The container blends with the contents, which also contribute to the formal and visual expression of the product. An intense and vibrant dialogue comprised of elements, fittings, light partitions, and structure, in a delicate balance between form and content, between exterior and interior. A project with a distinctly contemporary character, technologically innovative, resulting from the development of a series of aluminum frames that form the wardrobe’s structure. The frames are externally enclosed by 4 mm thick tempered glass panels, available in extra-clear transparent, smoked grey, or reflective bronze finishes, while the interiors remain open with through compartments. The flush glass is a technological plus with strong aesthetic impact, giving the entire project a monolithic appearance, where the full-size surface becomes a kind of continuous skydome without interruptions.
Usable as an island or wall-mounted, Tian is a system within the system—its architecture integrates into the vast Armadio al Centimetro program, offering the possibility to design various compositions. Tian can be paired with Dandy hinged doors or offered in an Open version without doors.
